Consolidated Chassis Management LLC

In 2005, OCEMA formed Consolidated Chassis Management LLC as an industry utility to own and manage "gray" cooperative chassis pools. These pools ensure safety, reduce terminal congestion, increase equipment efficiency and reduce carbon emissinos. The CCM pools are an "open membership" model that allow multiple chassis providers to operate from wtihin the pools. Contributors to CCM's pools include ocean carriers, leasing companies, motor carriers, and beneficial cargo owners. It currently has over 120,000 chassis under management at regional pools in 29 major metropolitan transportation hubs.
